Target is close by along with a plethora of good restaurants. And it's right off the freeway (I-35). I don't notice the traffic noise much but I do notice the train though that sound doesn't bother me.

The rooms are nice. Good water and water pressure. Dishes in the kitchen. The stove top did not cook well. Could be the pans weren't the right pans for the cook top. The fridge didn't shut properly so we had to be conscious about making sure it closed and didn't pop open. Just some minor issues.

Maids came by every day to see if we wanted a cleaning. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

Stayed here after having surgery with my mom and sister. Staff was so friendly and accommodating, we needed so many pillows to get me into a comfortable position. Room was clean and despite construction it wasn't very loud. Bed was very comfortable and the kitchen made things even easier for us. Also there is Netflix so I felt even more at home and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed at several hotels in Temple over the past couple years and liked this one the best. The staff was very helpful and the rooms were nice and clean. The hallways and elevators were clean and well maintained.
My room had a kitchenette and table for 4. Not the traditional work desk and chair which was nice for a change. Some renovations are in progress but it was hard to tell.
Because the kitchen was being renovated, a traditional breakfast was not available but the staff had multiple snacks and drinks available throughout the day and evening to make up for it. It really added to the welcoming feel of the stay.
It is a quick turn off of the highway ramp and easy to miss. The GPS will get you there through a neighborhood with a lot of twists and turns but once you arrive there is plenty of parking.

The kitchenette was such a nice convenience, not having to go out for food every time you get hungry. Renovation going on in their dining area was the only real negative. The oversized room was great when you had a roommate.

I came to visit my son in college and experienced horrible customer service. The internet was supposedly out, but I saw the women manager let another guest check in. Since I’m from out of town, I decided to take my son out for lunch. The lady said she would call once the internet was back, but she NEVER did!!! Then, when I got back to the hotel, she had the audacity to address me as a Man, as if I identified as one or asked her to call me that. I clearly look like a woman and not an ugly!!! The A/C is not working in the building, which is outrageous. I have to reorganize my schedule to get the hell out of here! The women management needs to be let go. I traveled to many places as an Engineer, and this place is negative!!! Zero stars for the disrespectfulness and zero customer satisfaction/service!! For the love of god, how do you run a building with no A/C? The beds are hard, the floor is peeling. I asked the woman manager/cleaning lady for a toothbrush for the one night I stayed because my daughter forgot hers. Her comment with the cleaning and cleaning cart was, "You can get one at the front desk." (Even the cleaning lady was shocked and tried to repair the manager comments) I didn’t even bother to respond. I called the other hotel again and told them I needed to check in ASAP! I did not want my tongue to go unholy, but that devil ? was testing me!!!!!!!!! Worst experience ever! If that woman is from Texas, I don’t care ?‍♀️ if it's East, West, South, or North, Texas is ALL about hospitality! She doesn't need to be in the hospitality business with NO Customer Service! I know as Texans she definitely knows better!!!!!!!

I wasn't overly impressed with the hotel. My room looked like it was still occupied when I got to it (the bedding was a mess and the bathroom had trash all over). The guy at the front desk seemed to take it very personally when I told him. I asked for another room, but they didn't have availability.

When I got to my room, there were areas where I found mold/mildew growth in the shower. Other than that, it seemed clean.

One good thing is you can control the A/C to get your room cold. It's located in a good spot and the overall hotel is nice, but I think staff need training on customer service and tending to rooms.

Nice quite location with great amenities. The rooms are clean and modern and quite spacious and comfortable. The staff was outstanding and worked very hard to ensure all my needs were met. Their Breakfast is really awesome too! Easy in and out with access to everything.
