I bought my property in 2018. Last year (2024) I discovered that I was paying taxes, garbage collection etc. for someone else's property in a completely different municipality than the one I live in + all the fees for my own property. It was almost 5,000 euros that had been deducted annually from my account for the other property since 2019. I contacted Sánchez Solicitors to find out what was wrong and how I would get my money back. Sánchez Solicitors said that they had nothing to do with the matter and that it was probably the municipality that made the mistake, absolutely not them, so no help from them at all. I had to spend 1 week of my own time traveling between banks and different municipal offices to find out what had gone wrong. It turned out that Sánchez Solicitors had signed a direct debit to someone else's property using my bank number. I went to Sánchez Solicitors with evidence and they realised their enormous incompetence but I had to wait several weeks for a refund from them and did not receive any compensation for all the days I had taken off to sort everything out, including travelling around, hiring an interpreter, various parking fees etc. all to find out what had gone wrong. I did not even get an apology from them. They only promised that they would fix this and that it would never happen again. But now on March 14th (2025) almost 600 euros were withdrawn from my account again for someone else's property, I have had to go to the bank and visit the incredibly incompetent and rude people at Sánchez Solicitors again. I really cannot recommend this incompetent company. It is good to know if there are more people who have been affected and had similar problems. It is good to check everything if you have been a customer there before because it may not be the first time, I also discovered that they charge unreasonable costs for helping to declare and also insurance on houses etc. I recommend that those of you who are even thinking about hiring this company to think again immediately. They feel extremely incompetent and unprofessional in their handling of a customer.
